Jaipur : The fall in mercury in the state in the past days made one feel the arrival of pink winter, but now even after the beginning of Kartik Shukla month, the heat is showing a harsh attitude. According to meteorologists, the weather is going to remain dry in the state for the next three-four days and there is a possibility of a partial increase in the day and night temperatures.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, the night temperature was recorded below 20 degrees in 12 districts of the state, whereas last night, the night temperature again increased in many districts. Due to the mercury being higher than normal during the day, people are suffering from humidity and heat even at night. According to the assessment of the Meteorological Department, due to the humidity being 60 to 85 percent, the winter weather is likely to remain mild in the coming days as well. The effect of pink winter is likely to increase due to change in the possible wind pattern in the state in the next three-four days. At present, in the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner today is expected to be above normal and the mercury is expected to remain normal during the day in Ajmer, Kota and Udaipur divisions.
In the last 24 hours, Anta Baran in the plains recorded a minimum temperature of 17.5 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the hilly place Mount Abu was 14 degrees Celsius last night. In Jaipur also the mercury remained stable at 23.5 degrees Celsius last night. An increase in night temperature was also recorded in Shekhawati region.
According to the forecast of meteorologists, there is a possibility of a rapid drop in day and night temperatures in the state due to the change in direction of sea winds towards the state by the middle of next week due to the cyclonic system formed in the Arabian Sea. Along with this, the intensity of pink winter is expected to increase in the state due to strong easterly winds.
