Dholpur : Irrigation Department officials’ negligence regarding canal water in Saipau subdivision area of ​​Dholpur district is taking a heavy toll on the farmers. On Thursday, at the end of the house in Basai Nawab’s Jagirpura Kalan village, about 30 to 40 bighas of crops of many farmers were submerged in canal water. Due to which there is anger among the farmers. When the crop got submerged, the farmers said that this is the last end of the mine in their area. Where no arrangement has been made by the department officials for water filling. Due to which the canal water has reached the standing crops in the fields. Farmers have suffered losses due to canal water reaching the wheat, mustard and potato crops standing in the fields. Expressing anger over the crop loss, farmers have accused the irrigation department officials of negligence.

Farmers told that complaints were made to the department officials regarding continuous inflow of water in the minor for many days, but it was completely ignored by the employees including JEN. Even after the complaint, JEN and the employees have not closed the miner here. Due to which the farmers have suffered a lot due to the submergence of standing crops in the fields due to the canal water. On the other hand, due to Basai Nawab and Nandpur Minor being dry, farmers of many villages are waiting for water for crop irrigation. There is anger among the people regarding this careless irrigation department.
