Beed, 10 December (IANS). A massive collision took place between a Swift car and a truck near Ambasakhar Factory in Ambajogai in Beed district of Maharashtra around 7 am on Tuesday. In which two people died.
In this horrific accident, two people traveling in the Swift car died on the spot, while three others were injured.
The condition of the injured remains critical.
With the help of local citizens, the injured were immediately admitted to Swami Ramanand Teerth Rural Government Hospital, Ambajogai by ambulance.
On the other hand, the names of the injured in the accident have not been found yet.
The Swift car was shattered in this accident.
Let us tell you that a similar accident happened in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai late on Monday evening. 7 people died in the accident in Kurla area while 49 people are said to be uninjured. The number of deaths is continuously increasing.
Police said that the accident occurred at 9.50 pm in front of Anjuman-e-Islam School on SG Barve Marg in Kurla (West). An uncontrolled BEST bus collided with several vehicles.
After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Some injured were also taken to the hospital in auto.
Police said that there were about 60 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident.
According to the information received, the brake of a bus leaving Kurla station had failed. The driver had lost control of the bus. In panic, the driver pressed the accelerator instead of pressing the brake and the speed of the bus increased. Due to lack of control on the bus, 30-35 people were hit.
After this entire incident, senior local police officers reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter. According to senior police officials, the bus driver was arrested. Meanwhile, the forensic team has also reached the incident site on Tuesday and is collecting evidence.
