Chittorgarh : During a lathi fight between two groups, miscreants set a Scorpio car on fire. The incident is from Kapasan police station area of Chittorgarh district. The police reached the spot and recovered two Scorpio vehicles. According to police sources, the incident is probably between illegal gravel transport and royalty holders.
Another car coming from behind hit him
A villager of village Padoli Station told that today at 7 am, three vehicles were chasing a Scorpio car coming at high speed towards Chhapri village. As soon as the Scorpio car in front entered the village, its tyre got stuck in a broken drain in Holi Thada. During this, the people in the car fled from the spot. At the same time, another Scorpio car coming from behind hit the stuck car. After this, they attacked the people in the other car with sticks. After this, they set the Scorpio on fire and fled from the spot. During this, an Alto car was also found damaged near Chhapri. The villagers informed the police about the incident and extinguished the fire of the burning Scorpio. On receiving the information, DSP Anil Saran and SHO Ratan Singh reached the spot with the police force. Where the burnt Scorpio and another Scorpio car parked nearby were seized and kept in Padoli outpost.
Ratan Mali, a resident of Pandoli station, said that in the morning a loud explosion sound was heard outside his house. When he came out, a black Scorpio car was stuck in the drain. While the other one was hit by the boundary wall of his house. Four-five people were seen running away after setting the car stuck in the drain on fire. Seeing the car burning outside his house, he called the village police station. Along with the family members, he started extinguishing the fire by putting a motor. He does not know who these people were. Ratan Lal of the same village said that when the Scorpios were chasing each other, he was coming on foot from the field. Near the incident spot, the Scorpio going ahead hit him. Due to which he fell away. He saw two people running away from the car stuck in the drain. He does not know what happened after this.
Police are searching for the owners
SHO Ratan Singh said that we got information about a Scorpio burning at Pandoli station and another Scorpio parked nearby. On which we reached the spot. Two Scorpios have been seized from the spot. On the basis of their numbers, their owners are being traced and called. Probably this matter is between illegal gravel transport and royalty contractors. There is no information about anyone getting injured or fighting in this. It was only known that the people in the Scorpio that came from behind set a Scorpio on fire and everyone ran away from there.
