Alwar News Desk: A fight broke out between two groups of students at a university in Neemrana, Alwar. During this period, the dispute had escalated so much that a student from one group stabbed a former student in the stomach with a screwdriver. The student was taken to the hospital in a critical condition, where he died during treatment. After this, the angry family members sat on strike outside the hospital. The incident occurred around 2 pm on Monday afternoon.
Former student came to university with friend
Neemrana’s Additional SP Shalini Raj said – The deceased student Nitish Mahalawat (19) was a former student of Raffles University. Nitesh had come on Monday for some work with his friend, who is studying in this university. During this time, he had a dispute with some students and the matter reached the point of fighting. The reason for the fight is not known. Shalini Raj said- Preliminary information revealed that Nitesh had studied D-Pharma from the university. The group in front also consists of former students, who were from D-Pharma. The friend of the deceased is with us, but is still nervous. Correct information is being collected by counseling the student. Some names have come to light in this case. We have formed 3 teams, which are busy detaining the attackers.

Neemrana police station in-charge Mahendra Singh Yadav said that the dispute between students reached the level of fighting. Nitesh was badly injured after being hit by a screwdriver in the stomach. He was brought to the Community Health Center of Neemrana, where he died during treatment. The police station officer said – Till now no case has been registered by the family. Meanwhile, as soon as Nitish’s family members came to know about this, they reached outside the hospital and sat on strike. The family members demanded the arrest of the accused.
Police force deployed outside the university
The university administration and local police are trying to calm the matter. Heavy police force has also been deployed at the spot. Neemrana police station has started investigation. The CCTV footage of the university is being examined to identify the reason behind the fight and the students involved.
