Fight between two student groups over volleyball tournament, kicking and punching, know the matter

Kota : A case of mutual fighting has come to light between two student groups of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) of Kota, the educational city of Rajasthan. Two students are said to be injured in this fight, out of which one seriously injured student has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Both the students have been identified as second year B.Tech students of RTU.

Students clashed over volleyball tournament

This incident is said to have taken place on September 29, when there was a fight between two groups at night regarding the volleyball tournament going on in the college. In this, a student has been admitted to a private hospital after suffering injuries on his head and legs. On the complaint of the victim student, RK Puram police has registered a case against 6 students of RTU. After which this matter has come to light.

Fellow students attacked with kicks and sticks

According to the police, the victim student told in his report that he is a second year B.Tech student. Some students of his semester were harassing him for 3-4 days. Regarding this, on the night of 29th September, he had gone with his friend to the tea shop at Hadi Rani Circle to talk to him. While talking to the second year students there, he started abusing and suddenly attacked him and his friend with kicks, punches and sticks. My friend has suffered serious injuries on his head and legs. After which he was admitted to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment. The victim student further told that these days inter branch volleyball tournament is going on in his university. In which on the day of the incident, our team had defeated the team of the accused student, due to his rivalry they beat him up.
