Nominations were filed on Monday for the elections of Dausa : District Advocates Association. In this, a total of 20 advocates submitted their claims for 8 posts including 4 nominations for the post of President. Now the deadline for withdrawal of nominations will be on Tuesday from 10 am to 1 pm. The final list of candidates will be published 2 hours later at 3 pm. Advocates filed nominations in the Advocates Association office from 10 am to 1 pm.
Then the nomination papers were scrutinized and the list of valid candidates was published at 4 pm. The decision as to which advocates will be in the election fray will be taken on Tuesday at 3 pm after the withdrawal of nominations. Currently, maximum 5 nominations have been filed for the post of General Secretary. Whereas only 1 nomination each has been filed for Joint Secretary and Cultural Secretary. In view of this, it is certain that the candidates for both these posts will be elected unopposed. 7 members will also be selected in the executive, for which 9 candidates have filed nominations.
According to the election schedule, votes will be cast on December 13 from 10 am to 3 pm. Then after a gap of one hour, the counting of votes will start from 4 pm and after completion, the result will also be declared. According to Chief Electoral Officer Advocate Vinod Kumar Baindada, the nomination process has been completed. Now after the deadline for withdrawal of nominations on Tuesday, the final list of candidates will be published at 3 pm.
