Jaipur : The next edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards will be held in Jaipur. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Rajasthan Tourism Department and IIFA in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Next year, the IIFA Awards are completing 25 years. The IIFA Awards ceremony will be held from March 7 to 9 in 2025. Diya Kumari said that the event will further promote tourism in Rajasthan. She said that this is the second time the event is being held in India. The first award show was held in Mumbai.
The Deputy Chief Minister said, “The event will definitely promote Rajasthan’s sites, culture and history at the global level.” He called it an important opportunity and said, “When film actors and directors come and see the places and historical sites of Rajasthan, more films will be shot and new opportunities for employment and investment will be created.”
IIFA award ceremony will be held in Gulab Nagar next year
IIFA is a global platform to promote Indian cinema across the world and has a global following of audiences interested in Indian cinema. 25 glorious years of Indian cinema will be celebrated in Jaipur. The MoU was signed by Commissioner VP Singh on behalf of Tourism Department and Vice President-STJ Global Entertainment and Media (IIFA) Suresh Iyer on behalf of IIFA. Diya Kumari said that Rajasthan is famous for its unique culture, rich history and great hospitality. Through the event, Rajasthan will showcase its culture and tourism in a stronger form on the global platform. The artists and directors coming to the IIFA Awards ceremony will get a chance to get acquainted with the culture and rich history of Rajasthan. Other officials were also present in the Host Ceremony program.
