Alwar : Alwar A 90 year old woman, who was sleeping in her room with the heater on at night, caught fire. The elderly woman suffered 100 percent burns. The heater was near the cot. The clothes came on the heater, which caused the fire. The elderly man has been referred from Alwar to Jaipur. The incident took place in Bikhadi village of Mahwa Mandawar police station area of Dausa. Shivcharan Meena told – His aunt Ladbai was warming herself with the heater in her room with the latch on. Around 5 in the morning, smoke was coming out of the room and Bhua’s voice was heard screaming.
When his younger son found out, he broke the gate of the room. Went inside and saw there was only smoke. The mother was 100 percent burnt. With great difficulty the old man was brought out of the room but his entire body was burnt. The woman was referred to Jaipur from Alwar District Hospital. The condition of the elderly woman remains critical.
