Ajmer : A fire broke out due to unknown reasons in the fodder kept in an enclosure at Kekri. Efforts were made to control the fire with fire engines, diesel pump sets and water tankers. 20 trolleys of fodder and other equipment were burnt in the accident. The incident took place late Tuesday evening in Ramnagar on Jaipur Road.
According to the information received, smoke was seen rising from the fodder kept in the enclosure of Councilor Kailash Chaudhary in Ramnagar. When people reached the spot they saw that fodder was burning. People nearby started efforts to control the fire with water tankers and diesel pump sets. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade from the Municipal Council also reached the spot.
Efforts were made to control the fire with fire brigade and local resources. After a lot of effort, the fire was brought under control, but even late in the evening, smoke was rising from the remaining fodder. As soon as information about the incident was received, a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot. Due to the fire, 20 trolleys of fodder and other equipment were burnt to ashes.
