Most cases were registered in 2022
According to the data, the highest number of 272 cases of firing were registered till June in the year 2022, due to which 151 people were injured, while 30 people died. However, by June 2023, these cases had come down to 265. But during this period the number of injured had increased to 183, while the number of dead was 27. If we look at the data of the year 2021, 223 cases of firing were registered till June. During this, 129 people were injured, while 32 people died.
How many cases of firing in 2024?
Talking about the data of the year 2024, only 154 cases have been registered till June, in which the total number of injured is 74 and the number of dead is 15. Compared to last year, there has been a decline of about 42 percent in the number of registered cases, about 60 percent in the number of injured and about 45 percent in the number of dead. At the same time, if we compare this 2024 data with the data of 2022, then there has been a decline of about 44 percent in the number of registered cases, about 51 percent in the number of injured and 50 percent in the number of dead.
Bhajanlal government’s priority
Let us tell you that the new BJP government formed in Rajasthan on 15 December 2023 has been taking strict action against crime and criminals from the very first day. CM Bhajanlal Sharma himself has said many times from the open stage that his government is working on the policy of zero tolerance. If anyone commits a crime in Rajasthan, he will definitely be punished. Be it a leader or a hardcore criminal. No one will be spared. At that time, the government had entrusted this responsibility to Dinesh MN, the results of which have started showing within six months.
