Jhunjhunu : The first dense fog of the winter season covered the district on Sunday. After half of November, the effect of cold started increasing since two days. On Sunday, the weather suddenly changed and dense fog appeared in urban and rural areas. This was the first dense fog of the winter season. As the day broke, there was a feeling of cold throughout the day due to dense fog. The district remained shrouded in fog till afternoon. The sun came out in the afternoon, but its effect was less. As evening approached, fog started coming again. Due to fog in the morning, drivers had to drive with lights on. The effect of cold increased due to light wind. People were seen wearing warm clothes throughout the day. Due to worsening weather, the minimum temperature dropped by 0.7 degrees to 14.0 degrees. Whereas the minimum temperature on Saturday was 14.7 degrees. According to the weather forecast, the effect of cold will increase from Monday. Due to this, there will be a drop in day and night temperatures. The day temperature fell by 11.1 degrees in a day. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 32.3 degrees which came down to 21.2 degrees. Visibility was fifty meters.
Malsisar. Sunday morning started with dense fog in the area. There was fog throughout the day.
Khirod. People faced problems in transportation due to dense fog in Khirod town and nearby village Dhanis on Sunday morning.
Teasing. There was a sudden change in the weather in the area on Sunday. The sky was clear till five in the morning. After which suddenly a dense fog appeared. Due to which there was fog throughout the day.
Mandawa. The area remained engulfed in dense fog since late Sunday night.
Nawalgarh. The dense fog that suddenly appeared for the first time on Sunday morning changed the weather and the temperature dropped due to the increased cold due to light cold winds blowing during the fog. People who were roaming around wearing shirts till Saturday were seen wearing warm sweaters, coats and shawls on Sunday morning.
Nawalgarh city and surrounding areas remained wrapped in a dense blanket of fog till 12 noon. Due to the temperature not decreasing in Nawalgarh area, there was increased concern among the farmers growing winter crops and vegetables. But after the drop in temperature due to the fog on Sunday, smiles appeared on the faces of these farmers. Nawalgarh.
