Five absconding accused arrested in Pratapgarh house breaking and assault case

Pratapgarh : Police have arrested five accused who were absconding in the case of house breaking and assault two months ago in Suhagpura police station area of ​​Pratapgarh district. Police is busy searching for other absconding accused. Suhagpura police station officer Ramesh Chandra said that on the night of October 14, Rupesh Meghwal, resident of Semalia Khurd, had registered the case. According to Rupesh, his uncle Ratanlal Meghwal was sleeping at home. At that time his wife and other family members were also present in the house. Then Rupa Meena, a resident of Sandni, reached there along with 10-15 people armed with weapons. Some women were also included in the attackers.

First they pelted stones at the house and then forcibly entered the house. As soon as he came inside, the attackers started beating Ratanlal. When other family members came to intervene, they were also beaten up. After this the attackers dragged Ratanlal out of the house and beat him. Ratanlal and other family members were seriously injured during the incident. While leaving, the attackers fled after threatening to kill them. The police started investigating the case after the incident, but the accused were continuously absconding. On Monday, the police arrested five people including the main accused Rupa Meena. Police say that the search for other absconding accused is still going on and they will also be arrested soon.
