Five more members of Hanumangarh illegal arms gang arrested

Hanumangarh : Sadar and Goluwala police station, in separate operations, recovered 5 illegal pistols and 5 cartridges and arrested 5 youths. Three of the accused are residents of Manak Thedi village of Pilibanga. Cases have been registered in this regard under the Arms Act. In the third action, ASI Jaskaran Singh recovered an illegal pistol and arrested Surendra (24), son of Balram Bawri, resident of Ward 3, village Manak Thedi. Police station in-charge Ajay Kumar said that separate cases have been registered against the three accused and investigation is being done.

On the other hand, the team formed under the leadership of ASI Vijay Singh of Goluwala police station, while taking action at Ummewala bus stand Rohi Khara Chak (Kanhewala) late on Thursday evening, arrested Sumit (21), son of Surendra Nai, resident of Hardayalpura, with a pistol and two cartridges and Goluwala police gun. Vikram (18) son of Rohitash Bawri Ward 2, village during patrolling on North Patra of JRK Canal in Manak Thedi Pilibanga was arrested with illegal pistol and three cartridges. It is noteworthy that till now 18 illegal weapons, 144 cartridges and 10 empty cartridges have been recovered from the members of this gang, 20 people have been arrested and a minor has been detained.
