Five years imprisonment and fine to Bundi accused of molesting a minor

Bundi : Bundi’s POCSO Court Judge Bal Krishna Mishra has convicted the accused in the case of molesting a minor. The court has sentenced the convict to five years rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 29,000. The convict had forcibly molested the victim during farming work. The incident of molestation of the minor took place in January 2022, when the victim along with her family members gave a report at Hindoli police station and told that she was alone at her home at around 1 o’clock in the day. The convict has land near his house. He came there and asked the victim to pick up the fertilizer bag. The victim picked up the fertilizer bag and went away.

Meanwhile, the culprit said that he has to sort the manure, so take an empty bag and keep it in the field. Due to this, she took the empty bag and went to the fields with the accused. Meanwhile, when she started returning, the culprit caught hold of her, pressed her mouth and started forcing himself on her. The victim showed courage and freed herself from the culprit by kicking his chest and came home. On this report, the police, after investigation, presented the charge sheet against the accused in the court, where after hearing both the parties, POCSO serial no. 2 judge Balkrishna Mishra, while giving the verdict, sentenced the accused to five years of rigorous imprisonment and 29 years of rigorous imprisonment. Has been punished with a fine of thousand rupees. In this case, distinguished public prosecutor Nishant Kumar Soni, appearing on behalf of the prosecution, produced 13 witnesses and 26 documents.
