Flood like situation in eastern Rajasthan, high alert issued in surrounding areas

Rajasthan : Flood-like conditions have arisen in eastern Rajasthan due to continuous rains. Many areas are flooded. Three gates of the major dam Panchana Dam have been opened. The water level in the dam is increasing rapidly. People in the surrounding areas have been alerted to deal with any situation. Water is being drained by opening all the gates one foot at a time.

So far 3936 cusecs of water has been drained
The total filling capacity of Panchana Dam is 258.62 meters and the water level at this time is 258.20 meters. Water Resources Department officials are keeping an eye on the water level of the dam. So far 3936 cusecs of water has been drained. Water Resources Department officials XEN Sushil Gupta, AEN Veer Singh Jatav, JEN Sudesh Gurjar and Bhavani Singh are keeping an eye on the water level of the dam. Also, the dam officials have appealed to the people to be cautious and maintain distance from the river flow area.

All the dams of Karauli overflowed
After heavy rains in the district, many big dams have overflowed. Along with this, water is also being drained from Kalisil Dam, Ninder Dam, Jagar Dam and Mamachari Dam. At the same time, Rangwa Lake built on Karauli-Mandarayal Road in the district headquarters is also completely filled and has overflowed several times. This is the first time since 1996 that such a large amount of water has arrived in Rangwa Lake. The Meteorological Department has also warned of heavy rains in eastern Rajasthan in the next two days.
