Flood-like situation in many places in Rajasthan, normal life disrupted, 4 people swept away

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for this. The Meteorological Department says that at present it is over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh. There is a strong possibility of it moving in the north-west direction towards western UP in the next 24 hours.

Holiday declared in 4 districts

Here, in view of the heavy rain alert, a holiday has been declared on 12th September for children from class one to class twelve in Ajmer, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur districts on Thursday. Whereas in Bharatpur district, schools will remain closed from 12th to 14th September. The district collectors have issued orders for this. Because due to heavy rains, flood like conditions have been created in these districts.

4 people washed away in drain due to heavy rain

It has been raining heavily in Sawai Madhopur since Thursday morning. 4 people were washed away when a culvert of a rain drain broke near the old bus stand of the city. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted that monsoon will remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 3-4 days and there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain (Rajasthan Heavy Rain).

Alert in these districts

The department has predicted that heavy and very heavy rains may continue in Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Ajmer divisions on 12-13 September. Heavy rains are likely in some parts of Udaipur division.
