Fluctuations in temperature continue in Jaislamer, fans in houses also switched off

Jaisalmer News Desk: Temperature fluctuations continue in Jaisalmer district. After four days the maximum temperature reached 30 degrees. Due to which there was effect of cold. At the same time, the night temperature increased by 1 degree. For the last 7 days the night temperature has been hovering between 14 to 15 degrees. Due to no significant drop in mercury during day and night, winter is not taking hold yet. However, there was light fog on Monday morning. People going to work in the morning were seen shivering. But the weather remained clear on Tuesday. Due to the effect of cold during the day and night, fans in houses and shops have started switching off.

People have started taking out quilts and warm clothes to protect themselves from the cold. Heavy purchasing of warm clothes and quilts has started in the markets. The temperature is not falling rapidly in the district. Because of this the effect of cold is less. On Monday, after 4 days the maximum temperature dropped from 31 degrees to 30 degrees. At the same time, an increase of 0.6 degrees was recorded in the night mercury. The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 15.5 degrees. There was a difference of 15 degrees between day and night.

Weather will remain clear for 4 days

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in the district for the next 4 days. There is no possibility of fog there. Agricultural meteorologist Atul Galav said that the weather will remain like this for the next 4-5 days. The maximum temperature is likely to be between 30 to 34 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be between 14 to 16 degrees.
