Alwar : Alwar State Government will soon launch an incubation center in the agricultural produce market at a cost of Rs 3.26 crore. For this, the building in the agricultural submarket is ready and machines have also arrived. The equipment for the food testing lab to check the quality of the products manufactured in it is yet to arrive. With its commencement, about 50 people will get employment. Women and farmers of self-help groups will also be given training on the products made in the incubation centre.
Additional Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market, Anju Jatav said that under the Prime Minister Micro Food Industry Upgradation Scheme, an incubation center will soon be opened in the Agricultural Produce Market at a cost of Rs 3.26 crore. A 100 feet wide and 70 feet long building is ready. Three machines worth Rs 1.94 crore have been purchased from Ambala and Ghaziabad for food preparation in the incubation centre.
What is Incubation Centre?: Incubation Center means an institution where assistance is provided to entrepreneurs starting new businesses. At these centers, entrepreneurs are helped to succeed through resources, mentorship, and networking. Incubation centers can be either government or private. In these centres, various types of facilities are provided to startups. Various products related to market, guava, tomato and onion will be made in the incubation centre. These include millet cookies and flour, onion flakes and powder, tomato sauce, ketchup, puree and guava chutney and other products. Full care will be taken of the quality of the products manufactured here. The quality testing and packing of those products will be done in the food testing lab. With the opening of the incubation centre, 50 people will get employment. To make the unemployed self-reliant, free training will be given on products made from millet, tomato and guava. So that they can take training from here and start general employment. The incubation center will be given on lease to a third party for 5 years.
