In the first phase, six helicopters will be deployed at the Jodhpur military station.
Agreement to purchase in 2022
The country’s Defense Ministry had signed an agreement to buy 6 helicopters in the year 2022. Rudra helicopters will also be deployed along with these helicopters. Let us tell you that the first squadron of the Air Force has been deployed in Jodhpur about one and a half years ago. Rudra helicopters are also already deployed here. Now a staff of 50 people including pilots, technical etc. have been given training on both the helicopters. So that there is better coordination between the two during war situations.
