Alwar : For the first time in the history of Rajasthan, a major decision has been taken regarding pollution. Due to pollution, schools will remain closed for four days in Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan. The Collector has issued orders for this. According to the order, due to pollution, holiday has been declared in all the schools of Khairthal-Tijara district till 23rd November. In the order issued by District Collector Kishore Kumar, it has been said that in all government and non-government schools, children up to class five will have a holiday from November 20 to 23. Children will have to be taught online. At the same time, there will be no leave for teachers and they will have to come to school.
Know what’s in the order?
In the order issued by the Collector, it has been said that after the instructions of the Supreme Court and AQI crossing 450 in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan Pollution Control Board had issued orders to the Director of Elementary Education, Bikaner. In pursuance of the same, physical holiday is declared from 20th November to 23rd November for primary classes in all the government and non-government schools located in Khairthal-Tijara. During this period, teachers will make arrangements to conduct online classes for the students. This order will be applicable only for students.
AQI reached bad level
Let us tell you that with the increase in winter in Rajasthan, AQI has reached poor levels in more than 25 districts. The situation has become serious in Jhunjhunu, Bhiwadi, Karauli and Bikaner. More than 300 AQI has been recorded here. Jhunjhunu’s AQI has been recorded at 432, Behror’s 350, Bhiwadi’s 348 and Alwar city’s 175. Group 4 restrictions are in place across NCR due to pollution.
