For the new airport of Kota, stones will come from Dabi and soil will come from Gamcha, know what is special

Kota : The agencies have completed the work of preparing DPR for the construction of the state’s largest green field airport in Kota. Now the DPR will be handed over to the airport authority after final inspection. For the construction of the new airport, stone will be brought from Dabi area of ​​Bundi district. With this, work will be done for the construction of airport boundary walls, airstrip and buildings. Apart from this, Gamcha soil along with Daabi stone will be used in the airstrip. This soil is used in building NHAI highways. To complete the DPR quickly, three consultants were assigned the work by the government. A consultant from Delhi did the work of preparing DPR regarding the air side. Prepared DPR for the buildings to be constructed at the airport on behalf of another consultant of Delhi. DPR was prepared for the third consultant of Chennai regarding the environment related work of the airport. A joint DPR has been prepared by combining the DPRs of all three consultants. This DPR will be handed over to the Air Authority after final supervision by higher officials.

Road to connect airport to highway

Kota Development Authority has started the process of building a road to connect the new airport to the highway. De-marking has been done by KDA for road construction. Now a road will be constructed here with Rs 4 crores.

Water filtration plant and STP plant will be built

Electricity will be supplied by KEDL at the new airport. The water supply department will send filtered water by laying a pipeline from Sakatpura to the airport. This water will be treated by building another water filtration plant at the airport. A sewerage treatment plant (STP) will be built at the airport to treat rain water and sewerage water. Separate pipelines will be laid for drinking water and treated water. After removing the electrical towers installed on the land of the new airport, the work of installing new electrical towers will be under the supervision of the Airport Authority.

Speaker Birla had given instructions

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, in the meeting held on November 6, had directed the Airport Authority (AAI) to obtain possession of the land from the concerned departments within 7 days regarding the greenfield airport in Kota. On this, a decision was taken by KDA and Bundi Forest Department to hand over the land to AAI on 12th November.

Ranked among the most upgraded airports in the state

State-of-the-art ILS (Instrumental Landing System) will be installed at the airport. In this, Cat One class highly illuminating lights will be installed on the runway. Along with this, state-of-the-art machines will also be installed under localization and glide path. With this, big passenger aircraft will be able to land easily at the airport even in bad weather, storms and dark nights. Seven big aircraft can be parked simultaneously in the airport.
