Churu : Churu The inactive committees in the committees formed two decades ago will now be abolished. Along with this, active committees will be strengthened. Forest protection is important
According to the information, in the year 2000, committees of people living in the forest were formed by the Forest Department regarding forest protection and management. All the members in these committees did good work in the beginning. After this, people kept separating, keeping the main purpose separate. In such a situation, many committees remained on paper only. However, many committees in collaboration with the Forest Department have given importance to the protection of forests. Due to which the local people are also getting income from the products of the forest area. Along with this, forest protection is also being done here along with protection of trees in the forest. In such a situation, the societies doing good work will be registered in the Cooperative Department. For this, action has been initiated by the Forest Department.
Registration fee Rs 500
Instructions in this regard have been issued by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests of the Forest Department. In which the state government has received instructions to get the registration of shared forest management societies done with the Registrar Cooperative Societies under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act. For this, the registration fee of Rs 500 for each committee has also been approved by the Special Government Secretary, Forest Department. After this, the process will start under the district level office of the department.
