Jaipur : Former BJP Mandal President Gandilal Meena, resident of Lalpura village of Banskhoh Gram Panchayat Ugawas, Jaipur, died during treatment on Wednesday. In this regard, the deceased’s brother has filed a case of murderous assault at Tunga police station, accusing 5-6 people of assault. While registering the case at the police station, the deceased’s brother Bhuraram said that Gandilal Meena was buying vegetables at a shop near Patan intersection on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile a car came and stopped. In which 5-6 people were traveling. Three of them had cloth tied over their faces. Everyone got down from the car and attacked his brother Gandilal fatally. He alleged that Rambux Meena, Gangadhar Meena resident of Patan and three others were involved in the attack. He became unconscious due to the attack. On this, the local people rescued the injured and brought him to Banskhoh CHC. When his condition became serious, the doctors referred him to Jaipur. Gandilal Meena died on Wednesday evening during treatment in a hospital located in Mansarovar, Jaipur.

Gandilal Meena has also previously been the President of Bassi East Mandal BJP. During campaigning in the last assembly elections, Eastern Division President Gandilal Meena was attacked and injured by some people near Patan Dam on Patan Road. The car was also vandalized there. During that time also BJP officials had staged a protest. Here, there is anger among the people of the area after the death of the former Mandal President. Here, former minister Kanhaiyalal Meena demanded strict action against the culprits.
