Jaipur : Delhi Crime Branch has arrested Lokesh Sharma, former OSD of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in the Rajasthan phone tapping case. Let us tell you that in this case, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had accused Lokesh of phone tapping. The Union Minister had lodged an FIR in this matter in the Crime Branch of Delhi Police. Let us tell you that phone tapping case is a much talked about case of Rajasthan. Recently, the stay on the arrest of Lokesh Sharma in this case was lifted. Let us tell you that Lokesh Sharma had earlier filed a petition in this matter in Delhi High Court. In this petition, he had requested for relief from arrest and transfer of the case to Rajasthan. However, he later withdrew this petition.

What is the whole matter?
According to the information, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat gave a complaint to Delhi Police in this matter in March 2021. In this complaint he said that some corrupt police officers including Lokesh Sharma have tapped his phone. He had requested for investigation and strict action against the accused.
Delhi Crime Branch investigated this
After the complaint of the Union Minister, Delhi Crime Branch investigated this case. After investigation, Lokesh Sharma told the police team that he had found the ‘alleged’ audio clip on social media. However, Lokesh later changed his statement while taking a stand against the former CM. Lokesh Sharma had told Delhi Police that I had no role in phone tapping.
