Jaipur : Supreme Court gave a big relief to former MLA Girraj Singh Malinga in the case related to assault on Assistant Engineer of Electricity Company and SC-ST case. Supreme Court stayed the order of High Court which cancelled the bail granted to Malinga earlier and asked him to surrender within 30 days. Supreme Court also issued notice to complainant AEN Harshadhipati. The division bench of Justice MM Sundaresh and Arvind Kumar gave this order on the petition of Girraj Singh Malinga.
According to the facts, on March 9, 2022, a case of attack and assault on the petitioner was registered against local MLA Malinga and his supporters at the Bari police station. Malinga got bail in this case, but the High Court recently cancelled the bail and ordered him to surrender within thirty days.
