Former state minister Sukhram Bishnoi will go on hunger strike, know the big reason

Jaipur : Jaipur : Amid rumours on social media about the abolition of the newly formed district in the previous Congress government of Rajasthan, there is a lot of outrage in Sanchore. Due to this, former MLA of Sanchore Sukhram Bishnoi, who was a minister in the Congress government, is going to sit on a fast unto death under the banner of Sanchore District Bachao Sangharsh Samiti from today.

Chaos after IPS transfer list

It started a few days ago with a statement by BJP state president Madan Rathore. But after the IPS transfer list came two days ago, the matter escalated. According to this list, the Superintendent of Police of Sanchore district was removed and the SP of Jalore district was given additional charge of Sanchore. This angered the people of the district. The Bhajan Lal government is currently reviewing the new districts, so people are afraid of the new district being cancelled.

The hunger strike will begin at 11 am today

Bishnoi wrote, ‘Respecting the public sentiments, I am going to sit on an indefinite fast in front of the Sanchore District Collectorate from 11 am tomorrow, demanding to keep Sanchore district as it is. I vow to fight till my last breath to keep Sanchore district intact and for the honor and respect of the people of Sanchore district.’ Due to this, former state minister Sukhram Vishnoi will sit on a fast unto death from 11 am today outside the Sanchore District Collectorate. Hundreds of people from the Sanchore assembly constituency will also be present with Bishnoi.

The population of Sanchore district is about 8.45 lakh and it comprises 5 assembly constituencies, 5 panchayat samitis, 150 gram panchayats and 451 villages. The distance from Sanchore headquarters to the Pakistan border is only 90 km, which further increases the strategic and administrative importance of the area. Sanchore district is connected to National Highway 1-68 and Bharatmala Project, which also makes it important from the point of view of trade and traffic.
