Jalore : In the case of robbery of gold jewelery and cash from an elderly couple in Detakala village, the police arrested the fourth accused and the goldsmith who bought the gold jewellery. The police arrested the fourth accused involved in the robbery, Kaluram alias Kalia, son of Narsaram Kalbi (Chaudhary), resident of Vera Jalotara, Sayla, police station Sayla, on production warrant. In the same case, the buyer of the goods, Suresh Kumar Soni, son of Bhurmal Soni, resident of Goldsmiths’ Residence, Sayla police station, Sayla Hall, Kerda Gogaji, Bhilwadi, Bhinmal police station, Bhinmal, was arrested. In this way, 5 accused have been arrested in the case. All the accused are in police custody. Research is going on in the matter. The accused have accepted involvement in other incidents, investigation in this regard is also going on. Let us tell you that in this case till now Chhagnaram son of Amararam Kalbi (Chaudhary) resident of Detakalla police station Sayla, Malaram son of Amararam Kalbi (Chaudhary) resident of Detakalla police station Sayala, Bharataram alias Bharat Kumar son of Baburam Meghwal resident of Surana police station Sayala, Kaluram alias Kalia son of Narsaram. Kalbi resident- Vera Jalotara, Sayla, Police Station Sayla and Goldsmith Suresh Kumar Soni. Son Bhurmal Soni has been arrested.
Connection to other incidents
SP Gyanchandra Yadav says that the accused were presented in the court, from where all are on remand till December 3. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the four main accused have a role in other similar incidents in the district also. The police are thoroughly interrogating the accused regarding these incidents. There is a possibility of important revelations in the inquiry. On the other hand, efforts are being made to recover the looted gold jewelery and cash from the accused and the buyer goldsmith.
