Jaipur : The accused of allegedly preparing fake mark sheets in Rajasthan was arrested from Haryana’s Nuh district on Tuesday evening. The accused’s name is Mohammad Yusuf, who was wanted in 52 cases. Rajasthan Police had placed a reward of Rs 25,000 on anyone providing information leading to his arrest.
Another FIR registered in Nuh police station
Police said that accused Yusuf had prepared about 500 fake mark sheets of class 8 and distributed them among people for panchayat elections and other purposes in Rajasthan. Yusuf is originally a resident of Umra village in Nuh district. But, he was arrested from Khedla village on Tuesday evening. An illegal country-made pistol and a cartridge were seized from his possession. Officials said that an FIR has been registered against the accused under the provisions of the Arms Act at the City Police Station of Nuh.
Information given to Rajasthan Police
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Nuh) Ajaib Singh said that 52 cases were registered against Yusuf in Rajasthan for preparing fake mark sheets. The accused was declared absconding in all 52 cases. Rajasthan Police had put up bounties on the accused in four separate cases registered in Jaisalmer, Nauhar, Hanumangarh and Sedwa police station in Barmer. The accused has admitted that he prepared around 500 fake Class-8 mark sheets and gave them to people in Rajasthan for panchayat elections and other purposes. Rajasthan Police has been informed about the arrest.
