Jaipur : A case of fraud with a former judge of Rajasthan High Court has come to light in the capital Jaipur. Cyber criminals have committed a fraud of two lakh rupees. The accused spoke to the judge posing as telecom officer Rahul Tiwari. He told the judge that a SIM is running in his name. Wrong transactions have been done through this SIM. After this, the miscreant started threatening the judge and his wife. After this, the judge deposited 2 lakh rupees in the account told by the miscreants. After this, he realized that he had been cheated. A report was lodged at Vaishali Nagar police station.
Vaishali Nagar CI Ravindra Singh said that a case of fraud has been registered against unknown miscreants on the complaint of former Rajasthan High Court judge S Chaudhary (76). In the complaint, the judge said that he received a call on July 5 at 1 pm. The caller introduced himself as Rahul Tiwari. The accused said that he is a telecom officer. A mobile SIM is running in his name in Mumbai. Wrong transactions have been made through it.
The victim told the accused that he had never been to Mumbai. In such a situation, the accused started threatening him. He said that if you are telling the truth then send 2 lakh rupees to this account. If what you say turns out to be true then the money will be returned to your account. On this, the victim went to his nearest bank. He deposited the money in the account mentioned by the accused. The scoundrel assured that the money would be transferred back to his account. But when the money did not come, the victim KS Chaudhary informed the Vaishali Nagar police station about the incident that happened with him. The police have registered a complaint against the unknown scoundrels and started investigation. The police are investigating the matter.
