Hundreds of victims met me and expressed their pain, then got the investigation done: Gehlot.

Hundreds of victims of this case met me and I asked SOG for information about this case. Then SOG, as the Home Minister, informed me about these facts and the progress of this case. I had no personal hatred towards Gajendra Shekhawat. On the basis of this briefing of SOG, I presented the information about the allegations against Shekhawat and his family members to the media.

‘Respect towards Shekhawat’s mother, but it is my duty to bring out the facts’

Ashok Gehlot further wrote that Shekhawat also mentioned the allegations against his late mother in his statements yesterday. I have full respect for his late mother but as the Home Minister of the state, it was my duty to present the facts brought before me to the victims and the public. Now after the change of government in the state, the BJP government put pressure on SOG due to which SOG Took a U-turn in the court and did not consider him an accused.

The case should be investigated by constituting a SIT under the chairmanship of a retired judge.

In the matter, Ashok Gehlot demanded an impartial investigation by forming a SIT under the chairmanship of a retired High Court judge. Gehlot wrote that this matter should be investigated by forming a SIT under the chairmanship of a retired judge of the High Court so that it can be known whether wrong investigation was conducted by SOG during the Congress rule or whether SOG has prepared a wrong report under pressure. During the Congress government, SOG had even conducted a forensic audit in this case and investigated it. My aim is to ensure justice to lakhs of victims and get back their life’s hard-earned money.
