Jaipur : Big news has come from the capital Jaipur. A 25-year-old woman, who left home after a fight with her husband, was gang-raped. On the pretext of helping her, one of the accused made her sit on his bike and then forcibly took her to his flat. He called three of his friends there. All four of them raped the woman till she fainted and then fled. On the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence, the police arrested all four late last night. They are to be produced in court today. The case is from Vidyaghar Nagar police station area.
The matter is of old Vidyadhar Nagar of Jaipur
Police said that Shahba Khan, Altaf Qureshi, Mohammad Sakir and Aman Qureshi have been arrested in this case. All of them have been caught in Barpada. Police have not revealed anyone’s face. The officer investigating the case said that the woman was kidnapped from near the National Handloom Bhawan located in the old Vidyadhar Nagar area. On the night of July 16, she left the house after a fight with her husband and then came and sat outside the handloom at night.
The accused fled leaving the woman in a nude condition
Meanwhile, an accused living nearby reached there. He made the woman sit on his bike in the name of helping her. During interrogation, she told that she had left the house after a fight with her husband. Meanwhile, the accused made her drink an intoxicating cold drink and took her to an empty flat in a nearby under-construction building. He called his friends there as well. After gangraping her for about four hours, the accused fled leaving her in a nude state.
The husband was shocked after hearing his wife’s story
After that the victim somehow reached her home and told everything to her husband. Due to fear of defamation she did not even lodge a complaint. But yesterday the police was informed about it. The police took immediate action and saw the CCTV footage of the nearby buildings and later identified one of the accused. He was arrested and his accomplices were also arrested. The victim is in deep shock.
