General meeting of Municipal Council held in Dausa after 10 months

Dausa : After ten months, the general meeting of Dausa Municipal Council was held on Friday at Ambedkar Bhawan on Gupteshwar Road under the chairmanship of acting Chairman Kalpana Jaiman. The pre-determined 12-point agenda was to be discussed in the meeting, but before that the councilors raised the problems of their respective wards and demanded their solutions.

Raising the issue in the general meeting, Councilor Kavita Anand said that the cleanliness system is not good in any ward of the city. This time I am raising the demand for cleanliness and hope that it will improve soon. If the cleanliness system is not improved then next time I will bring the people of the area to the meeting. While raising the issue of heaps of garbage in the main vegetable market of the city, Councilor Pushpa Ghoshi said that apart from the vegetable market complex located in the middle of the city, there is filth and heaps of garbage all around on the roads outside. People are facing problems due to this, but the city council is not paying any attention to it.

Councilor Shahnawaz Mohammad demanded action on giving NOC for construction of houses in the city, problem of encroachment on main roads, illegal shops on roadside and coaching institutes running against rules in basements in the city. Councilor Ashish Acharya raised the demand for repairing the dilapidated condition of the community hall and making cleaning arrangements.
