Sikar : Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari has strongly condemned the no-confidence motion against the Rajya Sabha Chairman brought by the opposition. Ghanshyam Tiwari said- The move by the opposition to bring a no-confidence motion against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar is a complete misuse of democratic traditions and constitutional norms.
attack on the dignity of the house
Tiwari said- This proposal is not only unnecessary and baseless, but it is an attack on the dignity and impartiality of the House. Ghanshyam Tiwari said – The Chairman has always conducted the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha in accordance with the Constitution, in a fair and transparent manner. The allegations made by the opposition are completely baseless and politically motivated. The Bharatiya Janata Party always respects democratic processes and parliamentary traditions. Such a move against the Chairman is an attempt to weaken the reputation of a dignified institution like the Rajya Sabha.
Congress is unable to digest Dhankhar’s post.
Ghanshyam Tiwari released the video and said – Congress party is wasting the time of the House even after knowing that their proposal will fail. He said that NDA has absolute majority in both the houses. Congress brought a no-confidence motion against Jagdeep Dhankhar only because he belongs to a farmer family (Jat) and is the first person to reach this post. Congress is not able to digest this. Tiwari said- Congress party never gave Bharat Ratna to Chaudhary Charan Singh nor did it allow him to enter the Lok Sabha after becoming the Prime Minister. Similarly, Congress worked to humiliate various leaders of Jat community (farmers) in Rajasthan, these include veteran leaders like Parasram Maderna and Nathuram Mirdha. In the same sequence, there is also Jagdeep Dhankhar who was born in an ordinary farmer family of Kithana village of Jhunjhunu district of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan.
Many lawyers from his chamber became judges
Tiwari said- Dhankhar made the mark of his ability through advocacy in the Supreme Court Bar Association. Many lawyers from Dhankhar’s chamber have currently become judges in many high courts. Tiwari told that at the time he assumed the post of Governor of West Bengal state, he was one of the highest earning lawyers in the country, but he accepted the post of Governor without understanding the importance of money in democracy. . On the basis of the same merit, he was selected for the second highest post of India.
Ghanshyam Tiwari said- The act of exposing Congress party and opposition’s connection with anti-India George Sours is like a cat scratching its pillar. This proposal reflects the frustration and negative politics of the opposition. Instead of constructive debate and discussion in the parliamentary session, the opposition is only trying to create obstruction and disrupt the proceedings of the House. When the country is looking forward to discussion and decision on many important issues, this move of the opposition is against the interests of the public. This is the time to give priority to national interests and not to defame constitutional institutions for political gains.
