Jodhpur : Ghulamuddin, the main accused in the famous Anita Chaudhary murder case of Jodhpur city, was arrested by the police from in front of Mumbai Central Railway Station late on Thursday night and reached Jodhpur by late night on Friday. The accused could be caught with the help of the cyber team along with the Commissionerate Police and outside local police. To catch the accused, police searched 400-500 CCTV cameras and CDRs from Jodhpur to Maharashtra. The distance covered by the police was approximately 4 to 5 thousand kilometers. Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajarshi Rajvarma said that the accused was not using the mobile. He was running a hot spot when needed. The accused is very clever and has committed Jahar Khurani crimes earlier also.
Trying to escape to Nepal
Till now investigation has revealed that the accused reached Gujarat from Jodhpur and then Maharashtra. From here he was planning to escape to Nepal, he was about to leave India. But police teams continued chasing him. ADCP West Nishant Bhardwaj along with Basni police station officer Shafiq Mohammad, Boranada police station officer Shakeel Ahmed and about 20 police personnel were behind him.
Explored camps from Haji Wali to Juhu Chowpatty
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajarshi Rajvarma, to arrest the accused, the police reached Mumbai and searched the camps till Hajiwali, Kathiawadi and Chowpatty. CCTV footage of taxi, bus stand and other railway stations was viewed. The police kept following him till his location was found. The accused had put a cap on his head, so that no one could recognize him. The police have collected all the information at the technical level and have now arrested him.
More than 3 officers will be interrogated under monitoring
Interrogation by 3-4 ASP level officers of the police to gather information about what was the reason for the murder by the accused, on whose instructions or for what reason the murder was committed, as well as who else is involved in the murder. Will be done. The investigation has been handed over to Sardarpura police station officer Dilip Singh. People close to the accused arrested earlier will also be investigated. His wife Abeda is currently in police custody. Builder Tayyab Ansari has also been arrested by the police for disturbing the peace. Ghulamuddin Farooqui, a resident of Green City in Gangana, had absconded on October 29 after the murder. After parking the moped in the parking lot of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, he went to Ahmedabad by bus. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police had reached Ahmedabad while searching, but he had boarded a train and gone to Mumbai a day earlier. On Wednesday, the police got important clues. Builder Tayyab Ansari also arrested
In the case of Anita Chaudhary murder case, Sardarpura police station has also arrested Tayyab Ansari, another acquaintance of Anita, after the arrest of the main accused Ghulamuddin in Mumbai. However, he has not been made an accused yet. This arrest has just been made under sections of breach of peace. Tayyab and Anita have known each other for a long time. After Anita’s body was found, in the audio of the conversation between her husband Manmohan Choudhary and her friend Suman alias Sunita, Suman had expressed suspicion of Tayyab Ansari being behind Anita’s disappearance. After this the police were continuously interrogating him. His house was also searched 2 days ago. The police arrested him on Thursday night.

After Anita’s murder, many questions remain a challenge for the police. The biggest question remains the call recording of Anita’s husband Manmohan and her friend Suman alias Sunita. The last rites of the dead body have not taken place yet
Even 10 days after the murder of a beautician in Jodhpur, her body was not cremated. The family is on strike demanding a compensation of Rs 1 crore, a government job and a CBI investigation. The police has also given notice to Anita Chaudhary’s family not to cooperate in the investigation. A day before, the police reached Anita Chaudhary’s residence in Sardarpura where no one was found. A notice was pasted there. Then the police reached Veer Teja Temple where as the notice was not taken, Sub Inspector Reena Kumari pasted the notice in the presence of ADCP Sunil Kumar.
Abida Parveen’s remand period extended
After the remand period of Abida Parveen, wife of Ghulamuddin Farooqui, accused in the murder of Anita Chaudhary, she was produced back in the court where the police presented an application for extension of the remand period for detailed interrogation. On this, the court accepted the application and extended Abida’s remand period by six more days.
Returned inspection of the incident site
Here, ACP West Chhavi Sharma along with the police team on Friday morning reached Gangana village of Boranada area where the body of Anita Chaudhary was recovered from the pit, inspected it again closely and investigated to ensure that no evidence was left behind. The police also inspected the nearby places and collected evidence. ACP Chhavi Sharma said that the incident site was inspected regarding the case and due to the manner in which the incident was examined, a thorough inspection is necessary. Although the inspection of the incident took place only in the presence of the complainant, but due to some reason he did not come, the inspection was conducted under the direction of higher officials.

A heart-wrenching incident had come to light ten days ago on Wednesday in Gangana located in Boranada police station area of the city. Where the police reached Gangana area on the fourth day in search of the missing woman. There the police found the buried body of a woman behind a house. After this the police called MOB and FSL team to the spot. Meanwhile, no one was allowed to reach the spot. Later, the woman’s body was taken out and kept in AIIMS mortuary. From there the police detained the wife of the accused, whom the police also suspect of being involved in the murder.
Anita Chaudhary (50), who lived in the street near Goru Home Sweet on Sardarpura B Road, used to run a beauty parlor in the nearby Aggarwal Tower. Who was identified with Gul Mohammad alias Ghulamuddin, a resident of Gangana of Bakra Mandi Hall, Boranada police station area located on Chandpol Road. When she did not return home, her husband Manmohan Chaudhary (56) filed a missing report at Sardarpura police station. It was told that on October 27, at around 2.30 pm, she closed the shop and went somewhere without informing, and did not return. On this the police registered a missing complaint and started investigation. Meanwhile, the police started searching for Anita.
