All three stopped at some distance under the pretext of drinking tea and the vicious couple pushed the bike rider and looted Rs 9 lakh from his bag and ran away. Under the supervision of Ajmer District Superintendent of Police and Acting Kekri District Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana, the police took action and arrested the robber’s wife.
First asked for lift in a friendly manner
Kekri police station arrested the vicious female accused Divya Vaishnav, who had committed the robbery of Rs 5,24,100. Jitendra, a resident of Gegal police station area of Ajmer, had lodged a report on 6 October 2024, in which he told that he was going from Srinagar to Chan on a bike with Rs 9 lakh.
On the way, near Loharwada Mataji Temple, he met a boy and a girl who in a friendly manner offered to accompany him. But when they reached Jyotiba Phule Circle near Kekri, both of them suddenly stopped the car, pushed and snatched Jitendra’s bag and mobile and ran away.
More than 80 CCTV cameras searched and caught
Considering this robbery incident as serious, SP Vandita Rana immediately registered a case on the complaint of the victim and formed different teams. To catch the accused, the team carefully scrutinized the footage of more than 80 CCTV cameras installed on the roads, toll points, hotels, dhabas and highways from Kekri to Kota. On the basis of this, the accused Divya Vaishnav, a resident of Kota Sheetla Mata Chowk, was identified. Went. During intensive interrogation, Divya confessed to carrying out this incident along with her husband Ganesh Vaishnav. SP Vandita Rana said that the looted amount of Rs 5,24,100 was recovered from the possession of the robber Divya, while her husband is still absconding and the search for him is going on in full swing.
