Banswara Darshan Desk, the area which is today known as Samaimata, in the 15th century, this area inhabited by jungles was known as Banswara. Even today, on the highest hill of Banswara, there are remains of the palace of Basia Bhil built during the Parmar rule.

Since then he came to be known as Raja Banksia Bhil. Banksia Bhil had two wives Samai and Hangwai and named Samaipura mountain after Samai. Hungar mountain in Amarthun city was named after Hangvai.
Bronze statue weighing 4300 kg, 15 feet high

Its height from road level is 24 feet. A memorial for this statue has been built by the Council at a cost of Rs 35 lakh, which is made of red stones from Dholpur and Jaipur. It is proposed to get this statue unveiled by the Chief Minister.

The statue of Bansia Bhil in Bhimkund was unveiled by the then Vice President Bhairo Singh Shekhawat who had come to Banswara at that time on the request of Lal Shankar Pargi. Banksia Bhil’s father Amra Bhil made Armathoon city the capital. The idol of Maa Ambe, the family deity of Charpeta dynasty, is installed here.
