Jaipur : Rajasthan Global Business Expo will also be organized in the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 being organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. More than 100 companies and business groups from Rajasthan and across the country will participate in it. In this global expo, the state’s potential in the manufacturing sector will be showcased and the important role of Rajasthan in the industrial scenario of the country will be shown. Many pavilions will also be set up in this expo, prominent among which will be the state-of-the-art pavilion of Rajasthan and pavilions for some selected countries, startups and women entrepreneurs.
What will be special in the state-of-the-art pavilion?
Specific information about the state will be given in the State-of-the-Art Pavilion of Rajasthan. Under this, information will be given about the state’s economy, rich heritage, cultural heritage, major and new or emerging business sectors etc. Apart from this, various schemes and initiatives launched by the State Government will also be showcased and their impact in improving the rural landscape and reviving urban amenities will also be highlighted. This will include emerging technologies, smart public distribution and various e- Governance initiatives will also be showcased through interactive panels.
Startups run by women will also be included
The Start-up Pavilion will showcase start-ups existing in the state, including prominent women-led start-ups from the state. Similarly, the Women Entrepreneurs Pavilion will showcase successful businesses led by women who have achieved great heights under the policies and initiatives adopted by the government. Through this pavilion, these women entrepreneurs will be able to present information about their businesses to the domestic and international investors participating in the Global Investment Summit so that their entrepreneurship can be seen and appreciated. Spread over an area of 10,000 square meters, this exhibition (expo) will include many Indian and foreign business groups having business presence or interest in Rajasthan. Notable Indian business groups that have set up their pavilions at the Expo include Asahi India Glass, which has recently set up a major float glass plant in Chittorgarh, JSW Energy, JCB, Tata Power, Torrent Group, Mahindra City, Hindustan Zinc Limited, JK Cement. , JK Tire etc.
Companies from Denmark and Japan will also be involved
Apart from this, some selected countries including Denmark and Japan will also set up pavilions about their country in this Global Business Expo and many more countries can also join it in the coming days. Also, a large number of public sector enterprises are also setting up their pavilions in this expo and these include Central Government owned public sector companies like HPCL, GAIL and other public sector companies owned by the Government of Rajasthan.
Rising Rajasthan Summit will be organized from 9-11 December
‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 will be organized in the capital Jaipur on 9, 10 and 11 December this year. It is being organized under the aegis of the Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Department of Industries and Commerce, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RICO), the nodal department of which is BIP. For investment in the state, the state government has so far signed MoUs with various companies for investment of more than Rs 20 lakh crore and under this, Mumbai, Delhi, South Korea, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Singapore, Germany, Domestic and international investor road shows, pre-summits and district-level summits for various sectors have been organized in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
