Golden City will be developed with Rs 4 crores, carvings of artisans will be seen, see the area of Desert National Park Jaisalmer in the video

Jaisalmer News Desk: To enhance the aura of ‘Golden City’ and beautify the city, Jaisalmer Municipal Council has made an innovation. Under this, the divider from Ambedkar Park to Malka Prowl in the city is being made with yellow artistic stones at a cost of about Rs 4 crore. The work of making yellow stone dividers at the Air Force intersection has also started from Tuesday.

‘These stones were visible only outside the old hotels and houses’
The use of Jaisalmer’s world famous yellow sandstone as a divider between the roads after carving and workmanship is a unique innovation in itself, as it is happening for the first time. Earlier, carvings like this were seen outside hotels or old houses. Everyone is praising this construction. Now, as soon as they enter the city, tourists will be able to come face to face with the art of carving and stone work here.

‘Trying to complete the work before the desert festival’
Municipal Council Commissioner Lajpal Singh said that the Municipal Council is making unique efforts to beautify the city and attract tourists. In this regard, we are spending about Rs 4 crore to make artistic dividers from the yellow stones of Jaisalmer. So that these dividers made of yellow stone can add to the beauty of the golden city. The work of the circle is to start in the coming days. The work of replacing the dividers built from the city’s Ambedkar Park to Gadisar Circle, Air Force Circle, Neeraj Circle, Vyas Circle via Hanuman Circle and Geeta Ashram intersection to Malka Prowl has started with this new divider. It is expected that this work will be completed before the Desert Festival.

Along with beauty, security will also be taken care of.
Lajpal Singh said that Jaisalmer style artistic stones are being used in these dividers, due to which it will become a center of attraction for the tourists coming here. Along with this, a big palm tree will also be planted in it, which will further enhance its beauty. At the same time, this was also necessary from security point of view. Due to the recent road construction in the city, the level of the roads has increased, the dividers here have gone below the road, due to which there is a danger of accident all the time. In this regard also construction of divider is necessary.
