Jaipur : Rajasthan’s shine will spread further in the renewable energy (solar, wind, pumped storage) sector. For this, the state government is now going to bring one policy by ending different policies. The draft of Rajasthan Clean Energy Policy has been prepared. In this, the target of renewable energy (cheap electricity) production has been increased from 90 thousand MW to 1 lakh 25 thousand MW. Through this, investment of more than Rs 5 lakh crore will come in the state. Many big solar and wind energy parks will be developed. The special thing is that whichever company invests in a renewable energy plant here, it will also supply some part of cheap electricity to the discoms. The system of producing cheap electricity from here and taking it to other states will end.
Registration charges are also being reduced
The registration charge for project park up to 100 MW is up to Rs 30 thousand per MW. Now it is proposed to increase it to Rs 20 thousand per MW. In projects with capacity more than 100 MW, Rs 20 lakh will be taken in lump sum and Rs 10,000 per MW.
Plant in only 2.5 hectares
After the arrival of new technology, the government is changing the land allotment limit. For a 1 MW solar plant, 3 hectares of land is allotted, now only 2.5 hectares of land will be available. Same thing will happen in hybrid project. Solar increased, electricity supply started to 485 farmers during the day. The work of feeder level solarization is gaining momentum in the state under PM Kusum Yojana. Under Component-C of the scheme, two solar power plants of 5.38 MW capacity were established in Khairthal Tijara and Kotputli-Behror districts of the state, in which electricity production started. There is a 2.74 MW capacity solar plant at Jat Behror in Bhiwadi circle (Khairthal Tijara district). Due to which electricity is being supplied to 238 agricultural consumers during the day. Similarly, a 2.64 MW plant at Hoodia Jaitpur in Kotputli-Behror district was started two days ago. Through this, we are supplying electricity to 247 agricultural consumers.
