Jaipur : Now about 1.09 crore families getting ration under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) will get gas cylinder for Rs 450. Till now only Ujjwala and BPL families were getting its benefit, now about 33 lakh more families will join it. Along with this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also announced changes in the rules to clear the way for the long pending recruitment of fourth class employees.
Now the youth will be able to get loan up to two crore rupees at concessional rate for setting up industry, while the remaining recommendations of the committees formed to resolve salary discrepancies of employees will be implemented from September 1. Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on the lines of AIIMS, purchase of one thousand electric buses and the gift of development authority in Bikaner and Bharatpur have also been given. Apart from this, now there will be no bill to increase the salary-allowances and pension of MLAs and former MLAs, it will be increased automatically like employees and officers. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made these announcements in the assembly like a mini budget while responding to the debate on the Finance and Appropriation Bill on Monday. After this, the assembly passed the budget of the state, after which the Speaker of the Assembly Vasudev Devnani adjourned the proceedings of the House till 11 am on Tuesday.
