Good news for farmers, best farmers will get a reward of 50 thousand rupees

Jaipur : Rajasthan government is going to give a gift to the farmers. The government will award the progressive farmers who adopt new technology in the field of agriculture and do new experiments in farming at the state level under the Aatma Yojana. Along with this, they will also be given Rs 50,000 as incentive amount. Along with this, the best farmers will also be rewarded at the district and Panchayat Samiti level. The application process for these awards has been started. Soon the best farmers will be selected on the basis of the prescribed measurement and they will be rewarded.

‘The award is given every year’

Kalp Verma, Deputy Director of Agriculture Department, Didwana, said that under the Aatma Yojana, the government will reward and provide incentives to farmers who adopt advanced agriculture and latest technology. Every year, there is a provision to select and reward the best farmers in the agricultural sector at the state, district and panchayat committee level. Under this scheme, farmers who do better work in different activities like agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, dairy, fisheries, organic farming and innovative farming are honored.

Know how farmers will be selected

Under this scheme, there is a provision that five farmers from each category will be selected at the Panchayat Samiti level and they will be rewarded with Rs 10,000. After this, 2 farmers from each category of farmers selected at the Panchayat Samiti level will be selected and 10 farmers will be selected at the district level and given Rs 25,000. After this, 2 farmers from each category of farmers selected at the district level will be selected at the state level and they will be given Rs 50,000.

Applications will be accepted till 30 September

Kalp Verma said that to join this scheme, farmers will have to follow the 21 basic principles prescribed by the department. Also, those farmers will be included who do high-tech agriculture, organic farming products, innovative farming, such as mushroom, beekeeping, Azolla unit, processing of agricultural products, animal husbandry with good breed animals. Further, the Deputy Director said that the application process for this award has been started. Applications have been sought from progressive and innovative farmers of the district till 30 September.
