Now the Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan has started the Fencing Scheme. Under which farmers can get their fields fenced at a very low rate.

Giving information about the fencing scheme, the officials of the Agriculture Department say that under this scheme, 60% of the cost or a maximum of Rs 48 thousand will be given as subsidy for small and marginal farmers. Whereas for other farmers, 50% of the cost or Rs 40 thousand will be given as subsidy. If fencing is done by a group of farmers, every farmer will get a subsidy of 70% of the cost or Rs 56 thousand per farmer.

To avail the benefits of this scheme in Rajasthan, farmers can apply by visiting their nearest e-Mitra center or through the Raj Kisan Sathi portal. For this, they will have to provide a copy of the Jamabandi. It should not be more than 6 months old. Along with this, it will be mandatory for the farmer to provide Jan Aadhar card for the grant. Farmers can also apply themselves through the Raj Kisan Suvidha app.

Every farmer can apply under this scheme. The condition is that he should have at least 1.5 hectares of land. There should be two farmers in a group of farmers and the land should be 1.5 hectares. To get fencing done at the community level, it is necessary to have more than 10 farmers and 5 hectares of land.
