Jaisalmer : There is a good news for the senior secondary pass women native of the state. On behalf of the Medical and Health Department, in the session 2024-25, women health workers can take admission in 1650 seats in 34 government centers for a two-year period till December 16. Of the 34 government centers operating in the state, the number of seats in 8 is fixed at 60-60 and in 26 the number of seats is fixed at 45-45. Only female candidates can take admission. According to the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, the course conducted for two years duration includes 18 months course and six months internship. The training session is likely to start from January 25 in the new year. Detailed guidelines for admission have been issued by Rakesh Sharma, Director (Non-Gazetted) of the Medical and Health Department. The trainee will have to follow the mandatory attendance, leave and rules prescribed by the government from time to time for the courses.

The government centers of Jaipur Pratham, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Nagaur, Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Kekri have the maximum number of 60 seats each. More women will be able to get appointment here. Similarly, Bhilwara, Tonk, Bikaner, Churu, Sriganagar, Hanumangarh, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Dausa, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Sirohi, Jalore. Only 45-45 seats in Pali and Pratapgarh are government seats. Are in the centres. Women candidates have been advised to choose the center wisely. Apply before the last date of admission.
