Jaipur : if you are living on rent away from your home for studies, then there is good news for you! Now the Rajasthan government is providing financial assistance to such students who take rooms on rent for studies. Under the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, assistance of Rs 2,000 every month i.e. up to Rs 20,000 in a whole year will be provided. The objective of this scheme is to provide relief to students from accommodation and food expenses, so that they can concentrate on their studies. The last date to apply for this scheme is 30th November, so hurry up!
Who can avail the benefit of this scheme?
Ability:
Must be a native of Rajasthan.
Students should be pursuing graduation or post graduation (Arts, Science or Commerce) course.
Students whose parents live in the same city will not be eligible for this scheme.
Income Range:
SC/ST/MBC: Up to Rs 2.50 lakh.
OBC: Up to Rs 1.50 lakh.
EWS: Up to Rs 1 lakh.
Benefits of the scheme
Monthly assistance: Rs 2,000 (up to 10 months).
Timely Payment: As recharge till March.
Beneficiary Categories: SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS and Minority Categories.
