Good news for the farmers of Pali, this work will be done in a few minutes

Pali : Farmers have to work hard to apply fertilizers in the fields before or after growing crops. In the fields, one has to spend many hours in the sun with a tank tied on one’s back and spray fertilizer from a sprinkler. Pali farmers will not do this now. They will look towards the sky and the crop and within one and a half to two hours fertilizer will be sprayed in the entire field. By spraying fields through drones, farmers will be able to get better production at lower costs. Drone has been brought to Pali Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Which is much bigger than normal photography drones. It has a tank to fill 10 liters of liquid fertilizer, in which after filling nano urea or liquid fertilizer, when the drone is flown, the fertilizer will be sprayed on the crop like rain from the three sprinklers installed on it. This drone will fly for ten minutes. In this, about one and a half to two and a half acres of crops will be sprayed. KVK scientists have tested it on the crops grown in the center premises in Pali.

Could spray only in two and a half to three bighas

Farmers in Pali district currently use tanks to spray liquid fertilizer. Which comes to about 16 litres. After filling the fertilizer, the farmer ties the tank on his back. After this spraying is done through the pipe. With this technology, farmers are hardly able to spray about two and a half to three bighas in a whole day, whereas with a drone this work can be done in minutes.

These are the benefits

* Fertilizers and pesticides can be sprayed over large areas within a few minutes using drones. This reduces costs.
* The farmer does not come in contact with harmful chemicals.
* Pesticides and fertilizers are easily used even on crops grown at high altitude.
* There is less wastage of pesticides and chemicals. Due to this, less chemical is sprayed on more area.
* Drone sprays the crop rapidly, this saves time.
Now the Krishi Vigyan Kendra will fly drones in the farmers’ fields for free. The farmer will have to bring only fertilizer. However, once in the demo, the Center will also provide fertilizers to some farmers. Farmers will benefit greatly from drone spraying.
