Good news for the people of this district of Rajasthan, know what is special

Bundi : this is a good sign for the district. These figures of birth of daughters are writing the story of change and new thinking. The slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is proving meaningful in Chhoti Kashi Bundi. There has been a big improvement in the sex ratio in the district in 2023. According to the data of the Health Department, by the year 2023, 970 daughters have been born per thousand sons in the district, which is 47 more than the sex ratio of 2022. At the same time, more daughters have been born than sons in Bundi, Hindoli and Talera of the district. At the same time, more sons have been born in Kapren and Nainwan. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that daughters should live long. According to the data of PCTS, in 2022, the ratio of birth of daughters per thousand sons in Bundi district was 923, which increased to 970 in 2023.

More in three blocks, lagging behind in two

According to the information, in the year 2023, the birth rate of daughters has been the best in three blocks of the district. Whereas last year in these blocks, the birth of sons was equal or more. In Bundi, 197 daughters were born against 172 sons, in Hindoli 1270 against 1224, in Taleda 661 daughters were born against 608 sons. Whereas in Kapren 1232 daughters were born against 1331 sons and in Nainwan 1061 daughters were born against 1119 sons. Whereas in the last five years from 2019 till now, Taleda has been the only block where daughters have always been born more than sons.
These are the reasons for increasing the number of daughters

● Change in social thinking.
● There has been a mental change in the old belief of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
● Strictness of PCPNDT Act.
● Awareness among people, surveillance and regular monitoring.
● Action against sonography centres from time to time.

full compliance with the act

In the district, more daughters were born in 2023 than sons. This is the result of the thinking of the people as well as intensive monitoring and inspection of centers as per the Act, full compliance of the Act and promotion of the informer scheme, which has led to an increase in the sex ratio in the district.

The result of surveillance and awareness

It is a good thing for the district that more daughters are born than sons compared to last year. In 2022, 923 daughters were born per thousand sons in Bundi district, which increased to 970 in 2023. This is the result of the awareness program run along with keeping complete monitoring on sonography centers. The positive thinking of the common people also helped in this.
