Jaipur : Under the new education policy, many changes are being made in higher education studies. The curriculum is now being changed in universities and colleges. Innovations are being made in the syllabus so that one can get a job after completing studies. The advantage of this will be that skilled youth can get jobs directly with UG studies. Their package in the market ranges from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. In fact, UGC has recently issued a circular in which it has been asked to include two experts from the industry along with academics in the University Board of Study (BOS). Its objective is that courses should be prepared according to the demand of the industries. These experts will tell what kind of job opportunities are there in which areas. This new pattern is also being adopted in many universities of the state including Rajasthan University.
Add a separate course somewhere
Under the new education policy, skilled courses are being conducted separately in some universities, while in some they are being added to the UG curriculum. Students are taking certificates, diplomas and degrees in these courses as per their convenience.
Teach this course as industry is telling
There are many private universities in Jaipur which have tie-ups with industries. So they are preparing courses as per the demand of the industries. Students are being admitted in these courses. On completion, the same industries are giving jobs to the students.

The level of higher education is falling. Studies are being done in colleges and universities only to get a degree. Students are unemployed even after doing UG and PG.
