Jaipur : There is good news for the youth in the state. Especially, for those who are preparing to get recruited in the police department. The Home Department has sent a proposal to the Finance Department to increase the 5500 posts proposed in the budget to about 9000. This will further increase the opportunities for the youth in police recruitment.
About 3500 more posts than the budget announcement
Last Friday, the Home Department has sent proposals for one police station, police post, cyber police station, SP, CO office, police patrolling team and new police battalions. It has been told that nine thousand posts will be required from constable to ASP. IPS posts are also included in this. The Finance Department may also approve the proposal of the Home Department soon, because both the departments are with the Chief Minister.
Home Department’s argument- 3000 posts are required for RSC battalion
The Chief Minister had announced three battalions of RAC in the budget. One thousand posts are required in a battalion, from commandant to constable. Therefore, three battalions mean three thousand posts.
2000 policemen are needed in the patrolling team
Keeping women’s safety in mind, it was promised that 500 patrolling teams will be formed in every state. At least four policemen are required in one team. In this regard, 2000 policemen will be required.
4000 posts are needed for new police stations, outposts and offices
The state government announced a dozen new police stations, police posts and CO offices. New posts will also have to be created for SP and AAP offices, and cyber police stations in the new districts. Therefore, about 4000 posts will be needed.
