Jaipur : There is good news for the unemployed youth waiting for government jobs in Rajasthan. Bhajanlal government has recruited sanitation workers on 23 thousand 820 posts. For this, the Autonomous Government Department has issued a notification late at night. Candidates will be able to apply online from 7th October to 6th November. For this, candidates of Rajasthan have been asked to update their Aadhar card. Let us tell you that the selection of candidates for Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Direct Recruitment will be done on the basis of lottery.
Let us tell you that in Rajasthan, the government had earlier recruited sanitation workers on 24 thousand 797 posts. But sanitation workers across the state had demanded to give priority to Valmiki Samaj in the recruitment process. After this, fresh recruitment of sanitation workers has been done. The selected youth will have to show cleanliness for 2 months. After a probation period of 2 years the youth will get permanent appointment. However, during this period, the youth selected by the government will be paid as per the rules.
Eligibility and age limit to apply
Candidates applying for Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Recruitment must be natives of Rajasthan. There is no prescribed educational qualification for the employee post. It is mandatory for the candidate to have one year work experience in cleaning and public sewerage cleaning. Candidates who have obtained certificates from companies and contractors doing road cleaning and public sewerage cleaning work in Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Municipal Council will be able to apply for recruitment. The age limit has been kept from 18 to 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in maximum age limit as per rules. Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2024.
Selection process for Safai Karmchari Recruitment 2024
Candidates for Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Recruitment will be selected through lottery and practical by the selection committee constituted at the body level. After the interview of the candidate, there will be practical of cleaning work. That means, along with sweeping, the drains will be cleaned. Three times the number of candidates will be selected for this. Candidates will be placed on a probation period of 2 years. After this it will be made permanent. The good thing is that pension will also be paid to the newly appointed employees as per the effective rules of the state government.
When will the online forms be filled
Candidates will be able to apply online from 7th October to 6th November. For general category, a fee of Rs 600 will have to be paid, while for reserved category and disabled candidates, a fee of Rs 400-400 will have to be paid. Candidates can make amendments in the form from 11th to 25th November. There will be a separate charge of Rs 100 for this.
